MLG Of Counsel attorney, Lauren D. Kerr, is board certified as a specialist in Construction Law by the Florida Bar. Fewer than 5% of Florida attorneys hold the distinction of board certification in any given area. Lauren brings substantial experience representing national homebuilders, contractors, and business clients in residential construction defect litigation, commercial building, risk transfer, and high-exposure civil cases. She has served as trial counsel in both jury trials and arbitration proceedings, and has resolved hundreds of construction disputes pre-suit. In addition to her work with MLG, Lauren serves as a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator, where she assists parties in resolving construction and insured-related lawsuits.
